Arrange character introductions, transformations or story moments across connected panels. The unfolding experience encourages readers to explore your artwork in sequence.
PRINTLAB KUALA LUMPUR • ESTABLISHED SINCE 1993
Unfold your characters. Reveal your story. Create something worth collecting.
Turn original anime illustrations, character profiles and game worlds into a compact booklet that opens into a continuous visual display. Printlab Marketing Sdn Bhd helps creators and brands plan custom accordion fold booklets at our Bandar Sri Damansara printing factory in Kuala Lumpur.
Also called a concertina booklet or zigzag fold booklet, this format uses alternating folds to connect a sequence of panels. Display a character line-up, reveal a story scene by scene, or create a collectible insert for your merchandise collection.
Arrange character introductions, transformations or story moments across connected panels. The unfolding experience encourages readers to explore your artwork in sequence.
Keep the booklet folded for packing and gifting, then open it into a wider illustration. A practical format for convention tables, merchandise bundles and personal collections.
Use the layout for artwork, character names, short biographies, creator credits and a shop QR code. Ask about reverse-side printing to add another layer of content.
Keep a character set together instead of distributing separate loose cards. A planned panel sequence makes your collection easier to present and enjoy.
Tell us how you want the finished booklet to look and feel. We will confirm the production specification before you approve the order.

Count panels clearly: a four-panel sheet printed on both sides has eight printed panel faces. Send a simple sketch to avoid confusion between panels, folds and pages.
Plan artwork around the fold lines. Our design team can help reposition important details and keep character names away from fold and trim areas.
Confirm the front cover, reading direction and reverse-side orientation using a numbered panel layout before artwork approval.
Discuss how the booklet will be handled and displayed. Select stock for the balance of foldability, bulk and presentation your project needs.
Share your event date at the quotation stage. Confirm the specification, artwork approval deadline and collection or dispatch schedule before committing.
Make your artwork part of an experience customers can hold, unfold and keep. The layout can support both collectible merchandise and practical promotional content.
Create original character collections, illustrated mini portfolios and artist-alley merchandise. Use the final panel for your artist name, social profile and QR link.
Introduce heroes, factions, environments or a short game-world timeline. Include a QR code linking readers to a trailer, demo or community page.
Add a coordinated character guide, collection checklist or illustrated insert to a gift set. Build a consistent look across the booklet and other printed merchandise.
