Prepare artwork using the reference requirements
- Add approximately 3 mm bleed on all sides and keep important content at least 6 mm inside the finished edge.
- Include a die-cut line for non-rectangular stickers. If holes are requested, confirm feasibility and the final template before positioning them.
- Use CMYK artwork and convert text to outlines in AI/CDR files. The reference also lists PSD, PS and JPG formats; confirm export requirements with our team.
- The reference recommends 500 dpi or higher for JPG artwork at the intended output size. Small text should be larger where readability or viewing distance requires it.
- For black text, use single black (K only). Avoid excessive ink coverage, especially across areas intended to glow.
- If adding a QR code, the reference recommends at least 20 mm, but actual size depends on code density and viewing conditions. Test the final printed code under intended lighting.
Approve the production template: these are reference-file guidelines. Confirm the final bleed, safe area, minimum text, ink coverage and cut tolerances with Printlab before exporting.

How do glow-in-the-dark PVC stickers work?

Charging and afterglow depend on the material, light source, intensity, exposure time and printed coverage. Brightness fades in darkness. Ask for a sample or relevant test data; no fixed duration is promised for the unspecified stock.
Are these the same as reflective stickers?
No. Photoluminescent stickers emit stored light after charging. Reflective stickers return incoming light towards a light source and work differently.
Can I print a full-colour logo or character design?
Yes, submit CMYK artwork for review. Dense or opaque printed areas can reduce the visible glow, so identify the parts you want to remain luminous before approving the layout.
Are the stickers waterproof or suitable outdoors?
The supplied reference describes a water-resistant surface. Outdoor durability, immersion, weather exposure and resistance to cleaning chemicals are not confirmed. Tell Printlab the intended use so the complete printed construction can be checked.
Can I use them as emergency-exit or fire-escape signs?
Such use requires verified material performance, suitable graphics and an approved installation plan for the project. No safety certification has been supplied for this stock. Do not substitute unverified stickers for required emergency lighting or approved signs.
Can I apply them to floors or stairs?
Not without confirming that the complete construction is suitable for foot traffic, abrasion and slip resistance. Ordinary sticker film should not be assumed suitable for floor or stair-tread use.
