Visible interference evidence
Once the agreed label construction is properly applied and someone tries to peel it, the label can reveal a security message or pattern. The goal is visible evidence—not invisible “tamper proof” protection.
PRINTLAB KUALA LUMPUR • ESTABLISHED SINCE 1993
Make unauthorised opening visible.
Protect packaging, equipment and warranty points with custom tamper-evident VOID stickers, warranty labels and security seal labels from Printlab Marketing Sdn Bhd. When a suitable VOID label is lifted after it has bonded, its security layer is designed to reveal visible interference—such as a repeated VOID or VOID OPEN pattern—so the seal cannot appear clean and untouched.
Visit our Bandar Sri Damansara printing factory or WhatsApp your size, surface, quantity and security objective. We will help you define the label construction, artwork and testing steps before production.
Once the agreed label construction is properly applied and someone tries to peel it, the label can reveal a security message or pattern. The goal is visible evidence—not invisible “tamper proof” protection.
Use wording such as VOID, WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED, SECURITY SEAL, OPENED or your approved message. Add a logo, product reference, serial field or department name.
A suitable security construction is intended to show that a seal was disturbed. Once removed, it should not be presented as a fresh, reusable seal; confirm the exact transfer behaviour with a sample.
Ask about sequential numbering, batch references, QR codes or barcodes. These can support record keeping but are not a substitute for a secure database and verification process.
Surface and removal evidence are the most important starting points. The final specification is confirmed after checking the actual pack or device—not assumed from a photo alone.
| Item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Security construction | VOID / VOID OPEN message, transfer style, intended evidence, and whether residue on the surface is acceptable. |
| Application surface | Carton, coated paper, plastic, glass, painted metal or device casing. Surface texture, coatings and oils affect adhesion and transfer. |
| Finished size & shape | Custom width × height in mm; rectangular, round or contour cut. Provide the exact location and seam or opening area to be sealed. |
| Print & artwork | CMYK artwork; request logo, warning text, version ID, QR/barcode or serial-number requirements. Keep vital text away from cut edges. |
| Numbering / variable data | State start/end number, prefix, leading zeros, repeated or unique QR code and whether numbering must match another document. |
| Environmental use | Indoor/outdoor, temperature, handling, moisture, cleaning agents and expected service period. Material suitability must be confirmed. |
Proof before scale: test the proposed label on the actual surface after the intended bonding time. Inspect it intact, then attempt removal in representative conditions. Record whether the evidence is clear and whether the residue behaviour is acceptable.
Place the seal across the opening seam and specify the carton coating. We can help plan label size, message and overlap so interference is easier to see.
Add approved wording, a company logo, serial number or an internal reference. Pair the physical seal with documented warranty procedures for stronger control.
Prepare a schedule with size, message, artwork version and quantity per SKU. This prevents mixed designs and helps quote the job accurately.
Share the actual pack or representative material. Ask about a sample, approve the artwork and confirm the sealing position before committing to a larger run.
Seal device housings, repair points, access panels and warranty locations. Confirm the casing finish and heat exposure before choosing a construction.
Seal carton openings, product boxes, gift packs and premium deliveries. A visible seal can make an opening event easier for the customer and fulfilment team to identify.
Use security labels on cases, containers, asset panels and handover packs. Add sequence numbers or references to support the organisation’s internal receiving process.
Seal document envelopes, evidence packs, sample cases and controlled-access folders. Choose wording that fits your organisation’s handling procedure.
Identify calibration points, component access, service covers and warranty control points. Test surface adhesion and temperature exposure with the actual part.
Use only after reviewing the project’s compliance, material and documentation requirements. A printed security label does not itself establish regulatory compliance.
Security layering matters: tamper evidence, authentication and tracking solve different risks. A VOID label may be combined with controlled serial records, holographic features, secure packaging or inspection procedures where the project requires them.
Starting a new warranty programme or packaging launch? Ask for the lowest practical quantity for your chosen size, security construction, artwork versions and data requirements. MOQ and pricing are confirmed by quotation.
For finished artwork: quote the agreed size, construction, printed design, cutting and packing. State each artwork version and quantity.
Request support for VOID wording, layout, security-message placement, cut line and print preparation using your supplied brand assets. Confirm design scope and revisions.
For labels with numbering or code data: supply the data source, prefix rules, sequence and matching requirements. Confirm variable-data proofing before production.
Ask whether a small material or printed sample can be arranged for the actual surface. Sample availability, charges and timing are confirmed separately.
Before approval, confirm material, transfer behaviour, finished size, artwork, quantity, data setup, cutting, packing, taxes, delivery and production schedule. Packages are quotation formats, not fixed-price offers.
Data security: send only the variable data needed for printing. Keep the master serial-number register, code activation rules and warranty decision process under your organisation’s controlled access.

Visit Bandar Sri Damansara with a real pack, device or surface reference. A direct discussion helps define the sticker location, size and artwork before quoting.
Get help placing your approved VOID wording, logo, number field and cut line clearly. We can help make a label readable without overstating its security function.
We ask about surface, handling and desired evidence because a security label is only useful when it performs on the real application—not just on a screen mock-up.

It is a security label designed to show visible evidence when someone attempts to lift or remove it. Depending on the selected construction, a VOID or VOID OPEN pattern may appear on the label, the surface, or both.
No. Tamper evidence and product authentication address different risks. A VOID label can show interference, but stronger anti-counterfeit control may also need secure serial records, product verification and packaging controls.
Not necessarily. Full-transfer, partial-transfer and non-transfer constructions behave differently. Surface finish, cleanliness, temperature and bonding time also matter. Test the chosen label on the actual surface before a full run.
Yes, subject to checking the device casing, heat exposure and the intended warranty location. Add approved warranty wording, product reference and serial numbering if required.
Ask for custom logo printing, sequential numbers, batch references, barcodes or QR codes. Provide the data format and confirm a proof before production. A printed code alone is not a complete authentication system.
Yes, tell us the carton coating, opening seam and handling conditions. The label must bridge the opening in a way that makes interference apparent; test on the actual packaging first.
Send the finished width and height in millimetres, quantity and the position to be sealed. Rectangular, round and contour-cut designs may be discussed, subject to production limits.
Ask for a low-MOQ quotation. The practical minimum depends on material, size, artwork versions, variable data and cutting requirements.
Finished custom labels are made to order. Material availability and production timing are confirmed in the quotation.
Yes. Our in-house designer can help prepare the layout, wording, logo placement, cut line and variable-data field. Confirm design scope, fees and revisions before work begins.
Timing is confirmed after reviewing the material, surface, size, quantity, artwork and current schedule. Urgent availability must be confirmed before ordering.
You may collect from Bandar Sri Damansara after we confirm the order is ready. For delivery, send the destination postcode for coverage, charges and estimated timing.
