This is a special-effect custom product,
so the production workflow should begin with material selection
and a physical sample instead of going directly to bulk production.

Step 2 — Select Transparent Carrier
Choose a suitable clear or frosted PVC/PET material subject to available stock.
Step 3 — Prepare Mask Layers
Build separate artwork layers for CMYK,
white diffusion and selective opacity.
Step 4 — Prototype & Light Test
Test the card with no backlight and with the intended rear light source.
Step 5 — Adjust Density
Modify mask or white-ink density until the normal/reveal balance is acceptable.
Step 6 — Bulk Production & Delivery
Proceed only after the customer approves the physical result.

What is a Backlit Transparency Masking Card?
It is a custom translucent or transparent card that uses layered printing
and selective opacity so certain text or graphics become much more visible
when light is placed behind the card.
Is the hidden text completely invisible without light?
The goal is to make it difficult to notice under normal viewing,
but complete invisibility under every lighting condition and angle cannot be guaranteed.
A physical prototype is required to judge the effect.
How does the hidden message appear?
A strong rear light passes through areas with lower masking density,
creating contrast between the hidden information and surrounding artwork.
Can I use my phone flashlight?
Potentially yes. A phone flashlight can work for small cards,
but reveal quality depends on card opacity and light intensity.
A diffused LED source may produce a more even effect.
What material is recommended?
Transparent or translucent PET/PVC is the preferred starting point.

Can I print anime or game characters?
Yes, provided you own the artwork/IP,
hold the appropriate licence or otherwise have permission to reproduce it.
Can the hidden layer reveal another character image?
Yes. The reveal can potentially be text, symbols or a simplified second image,
subject to successful masking and prototype testing.

A backlit QR concept may be possible,
